And in my darkest nightmare
Things that I can’t remember
The answer is drowning
This pain will last forever

– “Alex Theme”, Silent Hill: Homecoming OST

At least now she looks as old as him… sort of. Like his slightly younger sister instead of his adult daughter.

I just. To hell with Dustin. Even aged down to a child, he still looks like Mr. Burns.

Brandi and Dustin Broke.

I’ve always thought that adult Dustin looked a lot like James Sunderland, so I figured I’d try to give him a James-esque makeover… only to have it end like this? I actually feel a little betrayed?

Well, whatever. I’ll figure something out.

ghostwaltzsims:

I’ve been getting back into writing regularly and I decided to do a little something with my favorite pre-made, Brandi. No pictures yet. Hopefully I can do that either tonight or tomorrow.

Brandi had never liked dealing with Dustin when he was in one of his “moods”. She had locked Beau and herself in the bedroom. They listened as Dustin raged and threw whatever he could. She heard the smash of what was undoubtedly the television. That cost her a month’s pay. A gift to her boys for doing well in school. She could go without bad day time soaps and enabler psychiatrists.

Beau sat beside her, his small body tense as if he were wound tightly like a spring. “Mom, it’s stopped.”

Brandi pressed her ear to the door. It had gone quiet. Worryingly so. She got up and motioned for Beau to stay where he was. Slowly she opened the door and peered around the corner. Dustin sat on the floor panting heavily. The mess he had created made her wish she had the courage to put him in the care of someone more equipped to deal with what was going on with him.

“Dustin? Dustin?” Brandi reached out to him. “Do you need me to call your doctor?”

Dustin shivered violently as he looked up at her. “They’re telling me that it’s time.”

“For what, Dustin? Time for what?” Brandi could feel the fear welling up in her guts. Was he going to kill Beau and her? Oh God, no.

“Time for me to do it.”

“Do what?”

Dustin got up gingerly. He took labored steps towards the front door. “I won’t be back, mom. Don’t come looking for me either. I’m sorry.”

Brandi wanted to go into the darkness after him, however the darkness he was going into was the kind she had been warned to stay away from. Brandi wouldn’t survive it and she knew Dustin wouldn’t either.

OH THANKS SO MUCH DUSTIN ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS HAVE A DECENT CONVERSATION WITH ANOTHER HUMAN BEING AND YOU COULDN’T EVEN DO THAT.

Dustin: Why would you even think me capable of such a feat? My life is where decency goes to die.

Just you wait, Broke. At some point I will return to Pleasantview, and when I do, I am going to intentionally fail to achieve your lifetime aspiration. Prepare yourself, shitlord.

NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN?

Dustin: Damn, Angela’s mom. Have you always been this milf-y or is my human decency bar just running low?

Dustin: Break it down! Woop woop!

Dustin: I’ll jingle your bells, anytime, Mary.

Mary-Sue: This next one’s for you, Dustin.

Mary-Sue: I’m dreaaaaming… of a red Christmasssss… into a deep hole you must go…

Dustin: Whoa, is that how that song goes? Dude, I’ve been singing it wrong my whole life.

Angela: I find your slash poorly written, characters underdeveloped, sexual situations entirely unlikely, and let me be the first to tell you, sister dear, that alien-induced mpreg is NO ONE’S idea of a romantic evening!

[ holiday death match ensues ]

Dustin: OH MY GOD, THEY’RE KILLING EACH OTHER!

Mary-Sue: Oh, good.

I don’t even understand. Lilith and Angela have a fairly good relationship, but all I seem to do with them is cancel violent interactions.

Am I forcing them to go against their very nature by not allowing them to remain mortal enemies until one of them either runs away/gets struck by lightning? Am I the one in the wrong here?

By the by, Mary-Sue did eventually get up to enjoy the spectacle, and even rooted for Lilith. Dustin remained useless from start-to-finish, not that I expected anything else from him.
